Lt Chris Leicht of Fire Department 21, was not able to join us at the January SFCC meeting due to problems with our new Zoom equipment. He emailed us, so here is his report plus a PDF file for you to download with important information.
“Engine 21 made 170 runs in the month of December, 22 of which were runs where Advanced Life Support measures were performed on the patient. There were 3 working fires, one of which was at 1928 Queen City where sadly there was a fatality. The fire is still under investigation. There was no working smoke detectors present. I cannot stress enough the importance of working smoke detectors. “
